Men of the roaring twenties were dressed extremely classy. An Average outfit for the wealthy consisted of straight or narrow pants, double-breasted vests, and overcoats. Suits were a must have for a fashionable man. Jackets were high wasted any sometimes worn with a belt.

Men's Fashion In The 1920's

​Oxford trousers were an ongoing trend in the 1920's. These pants were fitted at ones natural waistline and flared outward. Just like any other typical pair of pants, Oxford Bags had cuffs at the end of each pant.

Winged collars, bow ties, and vest were a traditional evening look for men. Size and proportion were chosen by the designer. Shown at the left are some more avant-garde pieces made by English designer John Wanamaker.
